We are taking responsibility
As a manufacturer of games and toys, Alexander has a decisive influence on which raw materials it uses and how it organises its production processes. We make every effort to minimise our negative impact on the environment and thus to curb climate change. To this end, we pursue a planned corporate environmental policy by assessing and eliminating risks. We continuously optimise our production solutions with a focus on environmentally friendly measures.
PACKAGING
We have introduced a new type of packaging that reduces paper consumption by 40%. These are the packaging marked with the sign above.
We have changed the paper on which we print our instructions. We have replaced the bleached chalk normally used for this purpose with offset paper (of the kind used in book production). This saves considerably on water and energy consumption.
Paper inserts.
In all new games we have replaced the plastic moldings with paper ones.

FSC® CERTIFICATE
Alexander is FSC® certified.
The FSC® certificate is a guarantee that when we use wood, we do not harm the environment and the people living in symbiosis with it. The certificate is issued by the global non-profit organisation Forest Stewardship Council® in an independent audit process.
By choosing products labelled in this way, consumers can be sure that the wood raw material used in the product comes from responsibly managed forests certified under the FSC® system and other responsible sources. In this way, FSC® certification helps consumers protect forests and thus make ethical and responsible decisions.
WATER SAVING
In accordance with the permit, we use groundwater from intakes located on our land (we have our own two deep wells).
The cooling media, in the production process, are in a closed circuit.
We constantly monitor water consumption.
REDUCTION OF WASTE GENERATION
The plastic parts found in our games and toys are recycled waste-free.
Secondary raw materials that are post-production waste are recycled.
Segregation of waste on the company’s premises and contracts with appropriate waste collectors.
We use CleanAir technological air purification filter units.
We optimise the consumption of raw materials and consumables for production.
